E Haku Inoa

E HAKU INOA follows filmmaker Christen Marquez back to Hawaii to find the sacred†manaĎo (meanings) of her middle name, which is over 60 letters long.†

Christenís story, however, is complicated by the fact that her estranged mother, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia more than 20 years ago, is the only one who knows its true meaning.†

Marigold Media Group was brought on by Relevant Pictures to help coordinate a national stations relations campaign for E HAKU INOA, which premieres in May 2014 for Motherís Day, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month.

As part of our station campaign, we brought on the design firm Gillenís Army to create an eye-catching online ad for Current Newspaper.

  • Directed by†Christen Hepuakoa Marquez. Presented by Pacific Islanders in Communications and ITVS. Distributed by NETA.
